Summer Day Camp

During the summer, Saint Columba House provides a bilingual Day Camp to the children, families and youth of Point St. Charles. Our goal is to offer affordable quality services providing children with opportunities to learn and explore in a safe and supportive environment.

The Camp Program focuses on promoting physical activity, healthy eating, and discovery of the community and environment.  This program consists of weekly camp outings to places of interest including swimming pools, beaches, museums, nature outings, etc.

Throughout the summer, our children, staff and volunteers share experiences and leave with beautiful memories.

In 2023, our annual Saint Columba Summer Day Camp under the supervision of Emilie Jacques welcomed 71 children and youth between the ages of 5 and 11. Our six week-long, high quality day camp was offered at an exceptionally low cost to make it accessible to low-income families.
